ACOUFIRE™ DOORS

ACOUFIRE™ DOORS

IDEAL sets new standards for fire safety and acoustic insulation with its AcouFire™ range of doors. Being a company that strongly focuses on product development and innovation, we have pioneered the process of designing up to manufacturing of door cores for high-end fire and acoustic performance. IDEALs’ AcouFire™ door design has our proprietary mineral core as its foundation that is further layered with sound dampening inner linings to form a composite core unlike any other available in the market. The door assembly is complemented by acoustic and fire seals for functional sound insulation. AcouFire™ doors, with inherent fire and industry-leading acoustic rating, are perhaps the first locally manufactured door cores of their kind to have comprehensive acoustic testing done in various configurations.

Our fire-rated acoustic doors have been tested for acoustic performance starting from 35 dB up to an impressive 45 dB with fire rating of 120 minutes in the same panel! This makes AcouFire™ doors the ideal choice within a whole host of industries, including education, healthcare, industrial settings, music production and much more, where safety, privacy and sound attenuation are integral. IDEAL doors are fully timber-based and can complement any interior style and decor. As a fully in-house manufactured product, IDEAL door sets can be customized to different fire and acoustic performance ratings to comply with specific project and code requirements. AcouFireTM doors are also available in standard finishes like veneer, laminate or paint to suit any ambience.

Our high-performance AcouFire™ door core have been tested for acoustic performance at reputed laboratories such as Warrington Fire (U.K). The same product line has undergone stringent testing as per relevant standards such as BS 476 PART 22. Our door assemblies carry third-party certification from renowned institutions such as INTERTEK (Warnock Hersey Scheme) as well as BM TRADA (Q Mark Scheme). As one of the few door manufacturers to have door cores tested and certified in various configurations, our range of AcouFire™ doors ensures real-world performance and reliability.

FACING

On top of the outer skin, which is normally MDF or Commercial Ply, IDEAL high-performance doors can be easily faced with wood veneers/laminates/paint as per any unique requirement to enhance its aesthetic appearance and match any ambience. The wood veneer facing is further finished by a lacquering system which can also accommodate staining to achieve a limited range of tint.

GLAZING

The purpose of increasing glazing on your windows as well as on your glass inserts on doors is for energy efficiency. A double-glazed glass panel consists of two slabs of glass with an air pocket between the glasses. This pocket of air better insulates the glass and allows a space to capture the heat or cold to better insulate the home.
